Community is all around us. It’s the people that we share the air with, say hello to, friend and create relationships with. We as humans are social creatures and the communities we have built feed that need for connection.

The mural concept communicates the connectedness of humans to humans and humans to nature, cohabitating in a central space. Creating a modern-abstract scene that is representative of local Telluride, and also the mountains as a whole. A focus on the sun as a centerpiece for both its giving aura and its round shape. Circles are often tagged with the sense of giving back. A shape that starts an d stops at the same point. It's the “I’ve got your back, you’ve got mine,” mentality experienced in a healthy community.

Taking a step back and observing the mural with blurred eyes will show a flow that embodies motion. A feeling of moving forward, progressing positively in space. The idea is that we do this together, under one sun, leveraging the power of community!
